DemFest was FUN!. Molly Ivins talked about the importance of having fun when you are fighting the good progressive battle. I want to make sure that we continue to have fun in the DeStefano campaign.

There were lots of exciting passionate candidates at Demfest. They were Texas candidates and while the DeStefano campaign probably shouldn't get involved with Texas politics, but I want to highlight a couple things. First and foremost, Fiona repeated her famous campaigning with Gov. Dean. First, she did a Christmas Card, then there was the famous kiss. Now, she has posed with Chairman Dean as illustrated in this blog entry.She has also become very interested in David Van Os' campaign, and is releasing this campaign photo. She has also become very interested in Barbara Ann Radnofsky's campaign, is releasing this photo. When we get back we will see if she can fit Mayor DeStefano as well as other exciting Connecticut politicians into her busy schedule.
Whether you are talking about Gov. Dean, David Van Os, Barbara Ann Radnofsky, other great candidates at DemFest and beyond, or especially Mayor DeStefano, there are a some important commonalities. They are passionate, they are exciting, they tell it like it is and they are full of hope. I want to make sure we keep that passionate, exciting, plain speaking hope vibrant in the DeStefano campaign.
