Congratulations to Jim Calhoun for his election into the Basketball Hall of Fame.  Jim Calhoun took UConn basketball from a team of steady habits, of consistancy and of lack luster to the ultimate heights.  Since Jim took Connecticut's reins there has been a consistent vision: "Be the Best!"

UConn has won 2 national championship since the late nineties and is poised to possibly do it again any given year.  Now Connecticut expects UConn to win every year.  We have an expectation of excellence.

John DeStefano is a lot like Jim Calhoun.   John has created an expectation of excellence in New Haven and when he is elected Governor he will do the same for Connecticut.  Connecticut education should "Be the Best", Connecticut job growth should "Be the Best", and the standard of living in Connecticut should "Be the Best" in the country.  Why have we allowed a culture of "good enough" in this state, we should expect more!
