John's performance left his staff and supporters incredibly Monday night in New London. As you read before in Molly's post, the excitement outside was palpable. John's support from working men and women across the state is a sign that his is a message to move Connecticut forward.

And the Governor? Well, apparently not.

Governor Rell was slammed by a few newspapers for her avoidance of questions and her awkward dodging of others. Stan Simpson of the Hartford Courant writes that Monday's debate brought Jodi Rell back down to earth. The Courant E-Board remarks on her ‘oops moments,' and the New Haven Register thought Rell ‘sounds like Bush.'
