The DeStefano Team hopes you're enjoying www.DeStefanoForCT.com's impressive new look. It took some time to launch and we're still working out the kinks - but we're proud of it. And its a work in progress. As you read this, the DeStefano Team is hard at work improving and creating content that brings the race for governor right onto your desktop. Not that you'd want it on your desktop, the Mayor is a pretty tall guy and might be a bit uncomfortable.
So while we've been busy, so has John DeStefano. He's been traveling around the state, rounding up the endorsements of towns such as East Windsor and Montville, prominent Democrats in New London and New Britain, and hard-working men and women from labor unions such as CWA 1298.

Blog for CT is committed to bringing you the latest and the best from the DeStefano campaign. But we also want to bring you little things about your state that you may not have known. For example; this is Monty. 'Monty' is a 14 foot tall Tyrannosaurus Rex that a member of Team DeStefano stumbled upon in her travels to Montville, Connecticut.
Montville, it seems, is not only the home to some great Democrats, but to also to dominant predators from the Cretaceous period. Unfortunately, no T.Rex fossils have ever been found in Connecticut, but Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill features fossilized tracks of dilophosaurus. Dilophosaurus, if you remember, was made famous by eating Newman from 'Seinfeld' in Jurassic Park. The Mayor and Team DeStefano continue to build momentum towards the Democratic State Convention. How much momentum? About as much as a charging T. Rex. This week's Quinnipiac Poll indicates that Mayor DeStefano still maintains a significant lead over his Democratic opponent.
